What is Blood Rain?

Blood Rain:

Blood rain has red colored water droplets. There are various reason behind this. Around Sahara Desert, brownish dust and sand carried by storms mixed with water droplets in clouds, giving rain it's brownish red color. In Kerala, red spore algae called Trentepholia annulata got carried by wind and mixed with water droplets in the wind causing blood rain. While in Zamora which is situated in Spain, the Haematococcous pluvialis algae got caught in rain clouds and produce a red pigment called astaxanthin causing blood rain.
