Neuromorphic Computing:

The world is developing by leap and bounds. Likewise the 21st century is facing a enormous generation developments from a pager to i phones, androids etc., The another fast developing field is..exactly the Artificial Intelligence. The New York Times noted that the Neuromorphic computing is the big deal fo AI. But What is it?

      Eventhough the concept was proposed in early 80s by Carver Mead, the proposal was developed in later 20s. Our normal computers is designed by binary language either 0 or 1. They are structured in a very rigid way. But in case neuromorphic computers, the designers of the new chips make the computer neuron to talk each other as the computer neuron does.These computer are made up of Silicon layerd Germanium coating chips instead of silicon chips which results in the scattering of neuron where the receiver does not receive the proper message. The team in korea is working on tentalium oxide to get the precise control over the flow of ions. Another leap in the performance is made at the University of Manchester who have taken a different approach called spiNNaker which stands for Spikal Neural Network Architecture while others are changing materials we use, while the manchester are using the traditional parts like the cores and routers. Changing computer hardware  to behave more like the human brain is one of the options we have for continuing to improve computer performance and to get computers to learn and adapt the way humans do.
