10 best Sci- Fi movies of 2018

Many Science fiction films were released during 2018. We have gone through more than 20 sci fi films and sort out 10 of it. These movies are paricularly based on scientific concepts as a base rather than emotions, actions and comedies. Here the top 10 are

10. Ralph Breaks the Internet -2 :

This film was initially released on 23rd November but earns a massive response among the audience, particularly children, within a short span of time. It is an animation film directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston. Ralph is a guy who is a heavy gamer enter into the video game to save the character that played in the video game. The visualization of internet is very fantastic in this film. The fun things which happens in the internet have been showed very humorously by using animated characters. This film is perfect prey for tech freekers who used to surf in the internet and also a remedy for depressed people.

9. Jurassic world Fallen kingdom :


Sorry Spielberg fans, for them this movie is a great disappointment but for neutral audience, this film is normal science fiction fantasy movie. This film was initially released on 8 June and run average with mixed reviews. However, Children gave warm welcome to this movie. 3 years after the destruction of Jurassic world theme park, Owen and Claire  return to the island of Isla Nubalar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that is about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering conspiracies that threatens the entire planet. This is the plot conveyed in the film.

8. Bumblebee:

Bumblebee is transformers film initially released on 3 December. The talented and expressive and nuanced script elevate this film from unnecessary to extraordinary and entertaining. This action packed science fiction film is a prey to children. The relation between the girl and car was also showed beautifully in this film.

7. Prospect:

Prospect was directed by Zeak Earl and Chris Caldwell. This film was released on 2nd November and has the mixed response among the audience. A man and his teeanager daughter encounter nonstop danger while searching for valuable gems on the moon is the story plot conveyed in the film. The film runs to the length of 1hr and 30 min only.

6. 2.0:

Rahman's background score pairs with Shankar's magical sci fi plot gave soul to the film 2.0. This film was actually made with 3D camera and it effects each and every frame of the film. The CG and Vfx works in establishing the AI elevated this film to massive one. As of first part shows the other side of AI, this part depicts the importance of birds and shows how our eco system is disturbed by the advancement of communication systems. 

5. Rampage:

Dwayne Johnson starrer Rampage story is extracted from the Koko gorilla's real life. This film was directed by Brad Peyton. This film is packed with action, adventure and more than that Dwayne Johnson. It's enough. And it was produced by the famous Warner bros.

4. Maze Runner - The Death Cure:

A perfect scientific entertainer for Maze Run series fans. As the title itself bears, the film is as complicated as matrix. This film will makes us to think from the begining to end. And we feel that we are in out of world while watching. Hope it is the final part of the Maze runner series. And this film was produced by 20th Century Fox.

3. Upgrade:

Thanks to Leigh Whannell for giving us such a rooted classic sci fi drama thriller. This film personally reminds me Terminator. This film uses stem cell technology that is fabricated into the protogonist and his mind was read by now fast developing technology Neural lace. The research work about Neural lace is going in the venture started by Elon Musk, Neuralink. This film was initially released on 1 June.

2. Ready Player One:

A Steven Spielberg film.That's ENOUGH! This film was made from the book written by Ernest Cline's best seller of the year Ready Player One. This film was made on the Virtual Reality and it is happening in 2045. A Visual treat for Spielberg fans.

Sorry to bother you, the meg , Pacific rim uprising, the titan are some of the science fiction films released in 2018. Avengers infinity war, Black Panther, Incredibles 2, Deadpool are some of the fanatasy movies that made a blockbuster.

1. First Man:

This film depicts the real story of Neil Armstrong. His lose of daughter, how he able to overcome that, the conspiracies in Moon mission landing and the loss of his friend Elliot and failure first moon mission and Soviet America scientific cold war are plotted well in this movie. The Moon landing was one of the greatest achievement of Mankind till now. We all have to watch this movie. Eventhough we know the climax of the film, it inculcates a proud feeling to everyone watching the movie.
